2) Is it a race?
No. Everyone is free to go at their own pace.

Yes. The Long March ends at 10am on Easter Monday. Anyone
still walking at this time will be picked-up and taken back
to the Y.M.C.A.
4) Can I run the Long March?
You are more than welcome to run if you like. If you want
to run, you MUST say so on the application form.
5) Do I have to complete it all?
No, you can retire at any time during the event. Just stop
at the next Marshall point or rest centre. We will then arrange for transport back to the Y.M.C.A.

There are no equipment requirements, however, you may want
to ensure that you have a sturdy, comfortable pair of shoes

No, the route map is not made available. The marshals are
there to guide walkers around the course.
